Touch-a-Truck! (June 17)
- An exciting day for children to see and explore their favorite trucks and emergency vehicles! Past vehicles have included the Ventura County Sheriff Truck, Ventura County Emergency Helicopter, Ambulances, and Conejo Recreation and Park District trucks! This event is free and open to the public, so bring the whole family and join the Conejo Recreation and Park District for a fun-filled and inquisitive day!
- Saturday, June 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Thousand Oaks Community Park (2525 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks)
The 67th Conejo Valley Days (June 15-June 25)
- The 67th Annual Conejo Valley Days is set to return to Thousand Oaks on June 15 through June 25. Festival goers can enjoy carnival rides from Kastl Amusements plus midway games for all ages along with traditional fair and specialty foods. CVD features live rock and country bands including the Colette Lovejoy Band and 805 Social Club, and line dancing led by instructor Kristal Lynn.

Amy’s Drive Thru Grand Opening (June 15)
- For my vegetarian readers, Amy’s Drive Thru will have its grand opening in Thousand Oaks! The nation’s first organic, vegetarian fast food restaurant is kicking off the celebration on June 15 where the first 100 guests will receive FREE Amy’s Drive Thru t-shirts.
